I’m happy to provide you the newest news, which is a message from a friend of Lee (thank yous goes to Gizem!):

“I will call him when the baby is born and say congrats, I’m sure he wont be able to wait to call us all his friends when the baby arrives, he’s so excited. I only saw him last week anyway and we had a chat the. Lee is fine and very happy, he can’t wait for the baby to arrive, this will be his best Christmas ever to have the woman he loves and his new baby by his side… I’m very happy for him.
He’s not talking about his music/album much right now, he spends all the time talking about his woman and baby at the moment.”

It’s good to know he’s happy, isn’t it?

Only days after saying he was extremely “excited” for the arrival of his son, former Blue member Lee Ryan, 25, and his fiancée Samantha Miller welcomed their baby boy. Rain Amethyst Lee is the couple’s first child and weighed in at around 8 lbs. No further details have been released.

In June it was announced that Samantha was pregnant, but the couple officially confirmed the news in a spread with Hello! magazine, where they also revealed they were expecting a baby boy. In the same interview, Samantha hinted that, despite some doubts, they were leaning toward the name Rain Amethyst, saying it “sounds great.”

Samantha’s due date had been this coming Thursday, the 4th.

Lee Ryan, the former member of boyband Blue, and his fiancee Samantha Miller have welcomed the arrival of their first child, a baby boy. Celebrity Baby Blog reports the pair named their newborn son Rain Amethyst Lee. He weighed in at around 8 lbs. His birth date hasn’t been disclosed though.

Lee Ryan revealed during his 25th birthday in June this year that he had impregnated Samantha Miller, his fan. At the same time he also confirmed he planned to wed her soon. The confirmation sent shock to Lee’s friends and family.

In July, report surfaced claiming Lee dumped Samantha after a series of heated arguments. She was claimed to be in complete shock over the separation. However, Lee was quick to put the brake on the false report, insisting he and Samantha were still engaged.

No wedding plans have been made by Lee and Samantha.

Former Blue singer turned solo artist and actor, Lee Ryan, has welcomed the birth of his first child. The boy, named Rain Amethyst Lee, was born days after Ryan admitted that he was “excited” for the arrival of the baby. Celebrity Baby Blog has reported that the baby weighed around eight pounds. Ryan and his fiancée Samantha Miller announced the pregnancy in Hello magazine and that it was to be a boy.

Last week, Never Mind the Buzzcocks presenter Simon Amstell made jokes to Ryan about the fact that all the previous members of Blue had had children, only to eventually leave their mothers. Earlier this year it was reported that Lee and Samantha had split up after a series of heated rows, although he later denied it.

2008 Antony Costa says Blue will re-form without Duncan James

Following the successful re-launch of Take That, it seems that any old jizz stain of a boy band thinks they can recapture the old magic. So after the likes of Boyzone shaved off a few pounds to fit into the old sparkly trousers, next in line are Blue. Apparently Lee Ryan has got bored of saving the elephants and punching taxi drivers in the head, but Duncan James is far too busy with his acting career. WTF?

Duncan has apparently told his former band members Simon Webbe, Antony Costa and Lee Ryan that he is “concentrating on his acting career”.

But what he really said was (probably), get those bunch of fucking lunatics losers away from me!
Let’s just run through his former bandmates’ greatest achievements since leaving the band…

Lee Ryan - as mentioned earlier, punching a taxi driver in the head and getting a conviction for it. Impregnating a fan who approached him through MySpace. Class that boy. A real wannabe Jack Tweed.

Antony Costa - released solo album ‘Heart Full of Soul’ in 2006, it failed to chart. Face expanding at a rate of two centimetres a year.

Simon Webbe - decent success with solo career and reality appearances ruined by claiming to be a UK hip hop pioneer paving the way for later artists like Dizzee Rascal through his love of the ‘hip hop beats’ on Blue records, actually.

Antony told Star Magazine: “Everyone said the Take That comeback wouldn’t work without Robbie Williams, but they were so wrong. We know the fans want it and we’re up for it. It could be Duncan’s loss, but we’re going to talk it through and plan something for the New Year.”

OK, Antony - so you’re flat broke and need the money but how about you forget the Take That comeback and think more about the All Saints comeback. Remember that one?
